Description
Air Pilot’s Manual Volume 1 – Flying Training – New EASA 2015 edition
This “Air Pilot’s Manual” series of books was first conceived in the late 1980s and has developed from its original 4 volumes to being comprehensively and universally used. They now hold a pre-eminent position in the aviation training field. The original authors and editors (of whom Trevor Thom might ring a bell) have gradually been replaced by a superb team of highly qualified instructors and examiners and the publishers are keen to ensure that the books are accurate, up-to-date, informative and interesting. The CAA draws heavily on the series for the PPL examinations and they have long formed recommended reading. During these last 25 years, over 100.000 copies have been sold worldwide!
This first Volume covers all flying training maneuvers, including basic instrument flying. Pre-flight briefing material is set out in diagram form and summarized. There is a full description of the contents of the PPL Skill Test, which must be undertaken at the end of the PPL training.
A must-have for every student pilot and instructor!
