Description
The Airbus A319-100 bearing registration G-EZII with manufacturer serial number (MSN) 2471 was delivered to easyJet in May 2005. It served passengers for over 15 years with signature routes to Copenhagen, Munich, and Basel. The plane was part of easyJet’s downsizing effort in 2021 when 23 aircraft were returned to lessors. Our G-EZII – also known as the “Spirit of easyJet 2018, Team Tegel” – hung up its wings in March 2020.
With 156 seats on board, the A319 is about 3.8 meters shorter than the base A320 model. That said, it never compromised on passenger comfort as it boasts a flexible and spacious aisle, generous seat width, and a top-of-the-line passenger cabin.
Aviationtags are crafted from upcycled materials, giving every single tag a unique character that’s a testament to the plane’s glory days. Characteristics like small blemishes, scratches or flaky paint only adds to its vintage charm. Remember, these quirks do not indicate flaws in the production process. Rather, they reflect the state of the aircraft materials we use as it was extracted. We’re excited to welcome our first ever easyJet plane to the Aviationtag family!
